A pilot cohort of brand ambassadors will work alongside the Marketing and Publicity department to expand both the in-person and digital network.

TAMPA, Fla – August 28, 2026 – Tampa Bay Downs has announced the launch of the Call To Post Club, a new ambassador program designed to introduce a new generation of fans to the excitement and experience of Thoroughbred racing during the 2026-27 live-racing meet.
The pilot program will encompass a selected team of ambassadors throughout the greater Tampa Bay Area to expand not only their own digital network, but to introduce students, young professionals, and sport enthusiasts into the world of Thoroughbred racing.
Applications will open on September 1, 2026, and will close at the end of the month. Ambassadors will attend live racing, share their experiences on their own social media, and help introduce friends, family, and classmates to all of the offerings at Tampa Bay Downs.
“Call To Post is about introducing a new generation to Thoroughbred racing and giving them an authentic voice in sharing the Tampa Bay Downs experience,” said Elizabeth Swarzman, Director of Marketing and Publicity. “We’re excited to bring new faces and new perspectives to the track while building stronger connections within our community.”
Ambassadors will participate in a structured recognition and rewards program, with several opportunities to receive complementary general admission, exclusive Tampa Bay Downs merchandise, VIP and Winner’s Circle experiences, and other non-cash benefits based on program engagement.
Key program dates:
• September 1, 2026 — Applications open
• September 30, 2026 — Applications close
• October 14, 2026 — Final cohort of ambassadors announced
• November 8, 2026 — Ambassador orientation
• November 18, 2026 — Opening day of the 2026-27 live racing meet
• May 2, 2027 — Program graduation and awards ceremony
The Call To Post Club is a voluntary ambassador program and is not employment or a paid influencer program. Ambassadors will not receive monetary compensation for their participation or social media content.
Designed as a multi-year growth initiative, the Call To Post Club is built to connect Tampa Bay Downs with the region’s next generation of racing fans.
