OLDSMAR - (Feb. 20, 2007) …Tampa Bay Downs will be offering a special Wednesday card of live racing tomorrow featuring a ten races. The highlighted race is the seventh, an allowance event with an optional claiming price of $62,500. Notable entries include Demagoguery, a five-year-old son of Demaloot Demashoot who is undefeated in his three starts at Tampa Bay Downs this season.
Also entered in the field is Prince Alphie, who won the Gray Pride States at Calder two races back. Completing the lineup is Florida Jackpot for the McBride barn, Pirate King trained by Larry Bates, Anglers Reef from the stable of Gerald Bennett and rounding out the field Maraquero. Post time for the featured seventh race is 3:06 p.m.
Wednesday's post time is 12:25 p.m. Gates open at 11 a.m., and Grandstand admission will be complimentary. The Silks Card Room will offer live poker action from noon through midnight.
